Old Dog Haven Have-A-Heart Meet and Greet / Paddywack

All through February, our long-time supporters at Paddywack are hosting their Have-a-Heart sponsorship benefit for Old Dog Haven. Stop in any day to sponsor a dog, just $30 for 3 months, $100 for a year. Meet some Old Dog Haven Representatives and their Forever Fosters at Paddywack for a Have-a-Heart get-together! Hear their stories and find out how you can help either by sponsoring one of our old dogs, volunteering for Old Dog Haven, or fostering for us.

Progressive Animal Welfare Society Caring Creatures
It’s time to explore how caring creatures can be! Take a tour on the wild side of PAWS and practice taking care of wild animals. Through fun activities and stories, kids will learn more about animals and caring for them. Just like us, animals are unique, and the kids will use their imaginations to investigate how the needs of animals are similar to their own!

Old Dog Haven will have a booth at this event. Please come on down and join us and meet some ODH representatives and their old dogs. Join the fight to eliminate cancer! Too many of us have lost our loved ones to cancer – both people and pets. Take a walk with us and make a difference. The Harlan’s Homes 4 Hope Relay For Life Team is coordinating this event.

Old Dog Haven Petpalooza 2024, Game Farm Park

Come join in the fun. Old Dog Haven will have 2 booths with foster parents and their old dogs. Auburn's Petpalooza is scheduled to return this May and it can't come soon enough! Petpalooza was cancelled in 2020, due to COVID-19 and it was offered in a small, modified setting called 'Happy Paws' in 2021 due to the on-going pandemic. Alas, the plan is for a return of Petpalooza and the Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run to Game Farm Park in 2023!

This beautiful park is also the home of a historic cabin. Old Town Park is a perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon with your leashed pet. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and humans must clean up after their pets.

Pride Trails Produce is pet-friendly. You'll find fresh local produce at this stand in Puyallup Valley. Dogs are welcome to visit while owners get the fresh produce of the day. Westcrest Park Off-Leash Area is an 8.4 acres, dog-friendly park in Seattle, WA. The park features a doggie drinking fountain, shade, trees and lots of open space. There is also a separated area for small and shy dogs located on the southwest side of the main off-leash area. For people, the off-leash area provides benches, chairs, and a shady place to relax. Restrooms, play areas and picnic areas are nearby.

Dog-friendly Rotary Bark Park in Gig Harbor, WA, is a 15-acre off-leash park in the woods with trails and a play meadow. There are picnic tables and a shelter located in the meadow area.
